File Sharing: What have you seen?
The session long project is a chance for you to take the issue in a module and give it a concrete personal expression. Think about file
sharing, CD burning and the like, and relate it to your world.
The operative question is: What have you seen?
Tell us something interesting about this problem that you’ve seen personally — some stories about friends, relatives, perhaps what
you yourself have done. Now don’t get too specific!! We don’t want a confession, and we are not ratting out our best buds here.
This is just a chance for you to explore the personal side of this issue.
If you have absolutely NO experience with file sharing and CD burning, then give me some personal observations on what you’ve read
on the issue independent of what you discussed in the case assignment. However, probably most of you have seen this before, so
explain what you’ve seen people do and what you’ve personally learned from it.
EXPECTATIONS:
Your paper should be two to three pages in length, and reflect your personal experiences with this issue. The important part of all
these project assignments is to carefully assess your own experiences with the topic, and then reflect critically on what
you might have learned about yourself and about situations through this assessment process.
The more that you can use the exercise to develop personal implications for your growth as a potential business person as well as a
moral individual, the more value you’ll get out of the exercise.
