Module 1- Discussion Board Essential QuestionsInstructions- Please Read!· During this module, you will have to create a flow chart, answer a total of three (3) questions and reply to three (3) peers’ posts depicting what you have learned. The reply posts can ONLY be from the questions that you DID NOT choose to answer and the required answers to a peer’s flow chart. · Post your completed answer in the Class Discussion Board titled- Module 1 Discussion Questions. You will not be able to see the threads, until you submit your posts. Place your post within the appropriate subject thread. I.e. Your endocrine answers should be placed within the Endocrine System Thread in the Module 1 Discussion Board.***Any “test” posting to gain access to the board will result in major point deductions! Please use integrity by answering in YOUR OWN WORDS, citing any sources you use, and lastly cordially adding scientific explanations not only personal thoughts when replying to posts. ***Your post: You task is to utilize the parts of a negative feedback system to create a flow chart showing how (1) one endocrine hormones elicits a change. Background Information:We learned about the basic parts of a feedback system in Chapter 1, and their role in maintaining homeostasis. (Reference chapter one if you need to)· Negative feedback systems are going to counteract the stimulus. I.e. if your temperature is raised, the negative feedback system that controls this will follow the system to result in a change that lowers your body’s temperature. · Positive feedback systems are going to amplify the stimulus until it is removed. I.e. an inflammatory response will continue to send the alarm that an invader is inside the body until the mechanisms in place have been destroyed. o Uterine contractions during labor are another easy to see example.Be sure to describe the role of the following factors:1. Hormonea. Nameb. What triggers it’s releasec. How it travels in bloodd. Is it lipid-soluble or water-soluble?2. Target cell(s)3. What muscles or glands work as effectors?4. What response is produced to return to homeostasis? Peer Response: Reply to one peer’s flow chart by telling them based on the information that they gave1. Which gland released their hormone2. Where would the receptors be located on/in the target cell? (Hint: determining if it’s lipid or water soluble should help you answer this) Thoroughly answer!!1. A. What is hematopoiesis and where does it occur? B. Offer details to distinguish myeloid stem cells from lymphoid stem cells. C. Explain which Stem cell and blast cell that each formed element is derived from. 2. A. Why and how are the intrinsic and extrinsic pathways activated? B. How is fibrin made to help aid in coagulation? Thoroughly answer !1. A. Why is the SA node the pacemaker of the heart? What is activates the SA node? B. How does the conducting system result in the contraction of the non-pacemaker myocytes of the atria and ventricles? (Include the parts of the system in your answer)2. What is occurring in the 5 periods of the cardiac cycle? State weather the AV and semilunar valves are open or closed during each period and tell me which phase of the ECG is occurring during each period. 3. A. What is Mean Arterial Pressure and how is it measured? B. MAP is regulated by Cardiac Output. What components make up Cardiac Output? C. Tell me a factor that can increase stroke volume and what that change will do to the Mean Atrial Pressure? D. Differentiate the preload from the afterload and explain how each can increase and decrease Cardiac Output and thus MAP. Purchase the answer to view it
