Does Globalization change views on beauty?
Question
Please find 1 article which addresses the following topic and present the key points of the article.
Article should be on this topic: Does Globalization change views on beauty?
Make sure you find articles that address the issue/topic you’ve chosen, not just articles that happen to have a few key terms related to the topic in them somewhere. You can use Access World News, Lexis Nexis Academic or Google News (or another Web search interface that searches across international news websites). Find an article that is AT LEAST 300 words long.
Remember these tips for searching:
• Using OR expands your search to include all articles that include any one of the terms you
have entered. “OR is more!”
• Using AND limits your search to only those articles that each include every one of the terms
you have entered.
In your presentation, you should identify and summarize the main issues in the article and explain why they are important and intriguing to you and to the class. You should do further research to support your analysis. Finally, you should provide either solutions or recommendations to the key issues identified.
You need to turn in a one page synopsis of your presentation with references.
The content of the report, i.e. analysis and conclusions, is the most important. However it is harder to get your points across if you don’t pay attention to the way you prepare and conduct your presentation.
In evaluating the presentation, I will consider the following:
Organization and Persuasiveness – Was the presentation well-organized, logical, and convincing? Was evidence marshaled to support the conclusions and the recommendations?
Analysis – Did the group show evidence of digging into the issue and conduct an analysis beyond what was already explicit in the articles?
